I'm Alexis

Oh Hi There

Before coaching, I spent multiple years in the corporate world. I was always on, always moving, overstimulated, and completely disconnected from myself.

Burnout hit and there wasn't a day where I didn't feel exhausted, anxious, and physically restless. Thankfully, for me, corporate burnout became an opportunity to grow. I learned that structure and discipline alone aren’t enough— they only work if they are genuinely rooted in supporting your body, mind, and spirit.

I know what it’s like to crave balance but not know where to start— and that’s why I created Bookends, to help women design rhythms that feel nourishing, not numbing.

The nudge to leave corporate became an overwhelming sensation I couldn’t ignore. That same day I gave my two-week notice, I enrolled in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition to become a certified holistic health coach.

As a graduate of IIN with a specialty in mindful eating, gut health, and hormone health, my work is grounded in helping women reconnect with their bio-individual needs to find balance and ease.

By weaving together simple supportive practices that bring you peace, you’ll feel what it means to live a balanced life so your mornings set the tone, your evenings restore your energy, and the time in between feels grounded, intentional, and purposeful.

For a long time, movement was something I used to control my body. My exercise was fueled by self-criticism. I was always chasing change and trying to fix the parts of myself I found unacceptable.

Over time, I learned to move differently. I began to feel into my body and appreciate its functionality. This awareness was a gift I discovered through Pilates which led me to become a certified Pilates instructor.

I’ve come to value slow, intentional movement as a way to ground, regulate stress, and build mental and physical strength both on and off the mat.

Because I believe movement is essential to both physical and emotional well-being, our work together will uncover what form of movement makes you feel most connected to your body— the one stunning body you’ve been given and tasked to love and nourish.

For those who seek peace, stillness, and steadiness— welcome to my little corner of all things nourishment.

My weekly newsletter is a quiet meeting place of reflection and rhythm where I share the everyday endeavors, lessons, and small realizations that are shaping my own journey.

Expect mindful notes, gentle rituals, and seasonal guidance to anchor your mornings, soften your evenings,
and nurture the space in between.
